Three modalities, one conversation

Considered care, chosen for your body.

We don't push services. Your first visit is a conversation about what you're feeling and what's worked before — the right modality follows from that.

The practice

Two decades of patient-led care
in one quiet room in Framingham.

Acupuncture Connections opened its doors in 2002. Twenty-four years later, we're still in Framingham, still seeing patients one-to-one, still listening before we recommend anything.

What's different is the toolkit. Acupuncture is the foundation. Massage therapy joined early. Red light therapy and the Restore Lab protocols are recent additions — the same diagnostic care, with new modalities for recovery, performance, and skin.

Common questions

Questions, briefly.

A few of the things new patients most often ask — ask us anything else when you book.

Do I need to know what's wrong before I book?

No. The first visit is a conversation. We listen to what you're feeling, what you've tried, and what your goals are — then recommend the right modality (or combination) from there.

Does acupuncture hurt?

Most patients describe it as a faint pinprick or no sensation at all. Acupuncture needles are about the diameter of a human hair — very different from medical needles used for injections or blood draws.

How is Red Light Therapy different from a tanning bed?

Red Light Therapy uses red and near-infrared wavelengths that don't tan, burn, or damage skin. It's used for circulation, recovery, inflammation, and skin support — and the sessions are short, comfortable, and clothing-optional.

Book your visit

A first visit takes one conversation.

We'll talk through what you're feeling, what you've tried, and which modality fits. New patients are welcome.
