This notice explains how Acupuncture Connections (“we”, “us”) handles the information you share on our advertising landing pages — the New Patient Special page and its confirmation page. It covers these pages specifically; if you go on to become a patient, the privacy practices for your care are handled separately by our clinic.

Information we collect

• Details you give us. When you complete the form, we collect your first name, phone number, and email address.
• Information collected automatically. Standard technical data (such as your device and browser type) and cookies used to run the site and measure our advertising.

We do not ask for, or collect, any medical, health-condition, or treatment information on these pages.

Advertising & the Meta (Facebook) pixel

We run ads on Facebook and Instagram. To understand whether those ads are working, our advertising pages use the Meta pixel — a small piece of code that uses cookies to record actions such as viewing a page or completing the form, and reports them to Meta.

We have deliberately configured the pixel so that it does not send your name, phone number, email address, or any health information to Meta (we do not use Meta’s “Advanced Matching” feature). It is used for advertising measurement only.

How we use your information

• To contact you — by phone or email — about the New Patient Special and to help you book an appointment.
• To measure and improve our advertising.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share your details only with the service providers that help us operate — including our appointment-booking system (Jane), our email provider, and our website host — and with Meta, limited to the non-identifying advertising events described above. We do not sell or rent your information.

Cookies & your choices

You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, and manage the ads you see through your Meta ad preferences and your device’s ad settings. Blocking cookies will not stop you from contacting us using the phone number on this page.

Keeping & protecting your information

We keep your contact details only for as long as we need them to respond to your request and provide care, and we take reasonable measures to protect them. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time.
